Kingsbridge is centrally located for those wishing to access Anglesey and the Snowdonia National Park and has the advantage of its proximity to Beaumaris with its comprehensive range of Hotels, Inns and restaurants having a wide variety of menus and prices. During the day there are many other cafes available for you to choose from.
Anglesey has some of the most variable geology in the UK and consequently its landscape varies considerably over its relatively small area. Its 400 foot cliffs in the north west give way to sandy coves and the expansive sandy beaches of Rhosneigr, Aberffraw and Newborough whilst the east of the island offers rolling hills and pebble beaches.
The surrounding countryside is of gentle rolling hills criss-crossed with public footpaths and narrow lanes edged with unspoiled hedges, an ideal location for walking and cycling.
The historic town of Beaumaris, with its castle dating back to 1295, lies 2 miles south west of the park. The local coastline offers breath taking views across the blue waters of the Menai Strait to the Snowdonia mountain range.
The Menai Strait offers water sports enthusiasts a spectacular location for Sailing, Windsurfing, Canoeing and Plas Menai some 13 miles away offers instruction at all levels.
Anglesey has 9 Golf courses, the nearest being Henllys Prince's Course, a distance of 1.2 miles and Barron Hill 3 miles away.
The Anglesey coastal path is 110 miles long and passes some of the most spectacular scenery in the UK.
Penrhyn Castle 10 miles close to Bangor, Plas Newydd 10 miles, and Caernarfon Castle 15 miles are all within easy drive and are well worth a visit.
RSPB reserves at South Stack; Valley Wetlands; Black Guillemots to be seen on local cliffs/coast 4 miles North of Kingsbridge.

Nearest Blue Flag sandy beach - Llandonna 4 miles. Toilets and cafe. Many of the other beaches have been awarded Blue Flag status for water quality and cleanliness.
Dinorwig Power station and visitor centre in Llanberis 16 miles has guided tours inside mountain to view power station.
Coarse fishing lakes at Llyn-Y-Gors 4 miles and trout fishing lakes at Llyn Jane 4 miles.
Sea fishing from beaches on the coastline of the whole Island but the nearest coast is 1 mile away. Fishing tackle and bait 2.5 miles. Sea fishing trips from Beaumaris, Menai Bridge, Amlwch and Holyhead.
